Online Meetings

 

During the COVID19 crisis, we recommend that you continue your club operation using online meeting platforms. We also recommend that you use an agenda more focused on activities that do not rely that much on having a physically present public. Here are the suggested roles and activities for an online meeting:

Minimal Meeting:

  1. Meeting Leader
  2. Timer
  3. Grammarian / Word of the Day
  4. Thought of the day (can be repeated as necessary)
  5. Hot Questions Master
  6. Meeting Evaluator

Extended Meeting:

In addition to the above roles/activities, you can also add:

  1. Today we travel to (can be repeated as necessary).
  2. Hot Questions Evaluator
  3. Language Improvement Games
  4. Listening Evaluator
  5. Club Debate.

Hosting a Meeting

The most widely used platform for online meetings is Zoom.  Here's how you join a Zoom meeting
